RULES AND REGULATIONS
001. while you may have your own sites that you administrate, this is not one of them. unless we specifically asked you, you are not in charge of anything. keep in mind that while you may have your own site, you are merely a member here, and you must listen to your leaders, namely, the administrators.
002. there are times when joking around can be taken a little too far. what you may think is funny, it may not be funny to other members. R-E-S-P-E-C-T is a key word in our world, as well as the real world. there is no reason why you shouldn’t respect others. respect does not only stand for other members, it stands for the site as well. if you are going to join here, don’t go off on other sites bitching about our site. it's rude and, come on, don’t be a jerk.
003. use proper grammar. if you have an accepted character here, we presume you have a good sense of grammar and you’re able to write more than one or two sentences. also, for the sake of keeping things tidy, please don’t use chat-speak (or whatever you call it) even in out of character boards. there's a ninety nine percent chance you’re not going to break a nail typing a full word; ‘you’ is only two letters longer than ‘u’.
004. don’t spam our boards! we don’t go around to other places writing crap everywhere because we hate you or we’re jealous of you. so, honestly, grow a pear and don’t do it here. not only does it make us look completely ridiculous, but it makes you look stupid as well.
005. while we don’t have a specific minimum word count, we would prefer that you write more than two hundred words. it's not hard at all, and chances are you probably wrote more than that when creating your character application. while posts should be over two hundred words, they don’t have to be any more than two thousand words. nobody wants to reply to a novel, that’s a little bit too much.
006. there is no such thing as a perfect character. everybody has their ups and downs, especially shinobi. mary sues and gary stus aren’t particularly well liked around here, so if you happen to create one without us noticing, or change your character into one after you have been accepted, there is a problem. everybody has flaws, embrace it!
007. we don’t powerplay, you shouldn’t either.
008. know that these rules may change, should the administrators feel the need to add to them. i'm just sayin'.
009. we may not be an entirely canon site, but moderate knowledge of the shinobi world is probably a good thing to have... just sayin'
010. when it comes to characters, as long as you're able to keep all of your characters active, there is currently no limit as to how many characters you have. however, canons are a different story. try not to have more than two canons, maybe three if they are minor canons; but of course, this is all depending on how active you are.
